Shore View Cottage

The accommodation was absolutely perfect. The location was excellent — slightly outside Inverness city centre, away from the noise, yet still close enough to have everything you need nearby. There was also a bus stop close to the property, although we didn’t use it as we travelled by car. A dedicated parking area was provided, which was very convenient. The house was spacious and comfortable, suitable for at least six people, with three bedrooms and two large bathrooms. We were particularly impressed by how well-equipped the kitchen was. The lovely garden and the pod area, which included many board games, were also a great addition. Sadly, we only stayed for one day, so we didn’t have enough time to make full use of everything. The owner was very friendly and helpful, always available to assist us with any questions. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Everything was lovely. It was so fun to stay in a typical Scottish cottage. This one is top of the line in quality, quaintness and comforting amenities. Hazel and her husband stopped by to say hi, which made it even better with her kind hospitality. It was cold and windy, so we grabbed a luxurious wool silk blanket to enjoy the sunset. We lit a fire in the living room and played games. It was just a lovely stop in our adventure through Scotland. We had dinner at The Mustard Seed downtown. For breakfast we stayed very local and ate a Scottish larder breakfast a couple doors down at The White Cottage.

Shore View Cottage was remarkable in every way: clear explanations and easy check-in, incredible cleanliness, and a tastefully and stylishly decorated house. We immediately felt at home! A hidden gem!

Very nice interiors and well equipped for a group of 6. Lots of nice extras like the outdoor pod area - great for watching the wildlife and passersby. Kitchen had all the equipment we needed for making a 3 course dinner one night.

Hard to fault, so would not want to.
