No. 41 Town House

Location was excellent. House very comfortable & very well equipped.

Our host was fabulous and talked us through access. Sooo many nice treats left for us including whiskey!! Having a bathroom in each bedroom was really, really nice. A very quick walk to Inverness. No surprises. The photos and descriptions were spot on. Clothes washer and dryer AND laundry detergent :)

Just a caution that if you use the top bedroom you'll be doing lots of stairs. The stairs are carpeted and a bit slippery on the edge. No issue if you use care and handrail. Definitely want fit folks in top bedroom, but this not really negative because this was well discussed in the listing.

Very nice

Excellent view of the loch from the windows. We were given a tour on phone because we reached later than planned but all the details were clearly explained and the check in/checkout process was smooth. Good selection of appliances and we were provided with fruit and milk in the fridge which was really nice. The manager was available on call whenever required. All in all, a great stay

The private parking out back had a very narrow access and took some getting used to. There was a paid parking out front, though, which we could use in a rush. The Wifi password given to us did not work as is. We had to do some experiments with it to get through.

Property is walking distance to shops, bars, and restaurants. Beautiful view out the front of the river and the churches across the street. George is a wonderful host and very responsive when we had a few questions.

If you have to have the windows open for cooling, there can be noise on the street when the bars close. The house sits on a main walkway. It’s later (3am?) but brief and it won’t deter me from renting this townhouse again.
