Velanos Villas

Jenny has created a haven up in the mountains. It's 20 mins to Topolio gorge and 20 mins to Elafonnissi i.e. easy access to hiking AND beach days -with a return to stunning views with only the sound of birds and bells at the end of the day. Great local eateries (ask Jenny!) in time-untouched villages. We also appreciated the homemade gifts left for us - the beeswax balm is amazing!

For us, it was perfect.

Вілла Nefeli побудована в традиційному стилі з каменю та дерева, розташована на схилі, з чудовим видом на гори й долину. Вона має окрему кухню, обладнану всім необхідним. Під час нашого прибуття нас зустріла власниця Jenny, яка показала віллу та поділилася корисними порадами щодо відпочинку. Окрема подяка Jenny: вона була уважною та завжди готовою допомогти. До зустрічі!

Під час нашого перебування був сильний вітер і у будинку було дещо незатишно.

Wir waren im Haus Lito im unteren Teil der wunderschönen und gepflegten Anlage unterbracht.Auch hier hat man von der Terasse einen tollen Blick in die Berge und sogar bis zum Meer. Die Steinhäuser sind urig. Jenny und Gorge waren sehr freundliche Gastgeber und haben u..a. gute Tips gegeben, wohin man lecker essen gehen kann. Die Taverne Krystalla, 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, haben wir mehrmals besucht. Die berühmten Traumstrände sind in 20 min. mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Sportlich geht's bei der An- und Abreise zu, denn es sind ca. 40 Treppenstufen vom Parklatz bis zum Haus zu gehen.

Bis auf das Wetter, Ende September (Wind und Regen, gibt es nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat.

Wir sind sehr nett aufgenommen worden und haben sogar zweimal von Jenny einen leckeren Kuchen gebacken bekommen. Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft.

Great location in the mountains. The view from the villa's terrace was stunning. The territory of the villa was great, there's a swimming pool which we unfortunately didn't have time to use. The villa itself is built in a classical stone house style and gives a vibe of the grandma's house in the village. A bottle of wine and cookies were waiting for us on arrival. Unfortunately, due to our schedule we didn't meet the owner, but they were really friendly when messaging.

The road to the villa after you turn from the main road is steep and could be hard for non-experienced drivers. The village is super small and has only one or two restaurants, so not many food options to reach by foot.

I highly recommend these lovely villas. We stayed in early September and the weather was perfect for lazing and eating out on our private balcony, swimming in the good size pool and simply enjoying the beautiful views. A drive to a recommended beach took less than half an hour and the fabulous Krystalia taverna was a gentle 15 minute walk (other even closer tavernas were available!). The village church with its 14th century frescos is well worth a visit. Last but not least our host, Jenny, made our visit all the more special thanks to her warm welcome (with goodies), attention to detail and useful suggestions. Would love to return.

C’était absolument splendide, belle authenticité des lieux. La vue est à couper le souffle et Jenny est très attentive aux besoins de ses invités. Un petit village tout près avec une petite épicerie et un restaurant très charmant à 15 minutes à pied.

L’entrée difficile mais ça vaut la peine et c’est la montagne! Il y a un aspect magique une fois sur place.

Die Anlage ist wunderschön gepflegt und bietet einen traumhaften Ausblick – besonders vom Pool aus. Die gemütlichen Steinhäuser strahlen viel Charme aus und sorgen für ein authentisches Wohlfühlambiente. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die große Gastfreundschaft, die unseren Aufenthalt noch besonderer gemacht hat. Auch die Lage ist ideal und ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Absolut empfehlenswert! 🌟
