The hidden Place

Great localization (about 10-15 minutes away from the castle with a nice view of it from the apartment, close to grocery stores and restaurants as well), great, caring host, very comfortable bed.

Bathroom basin is a little small, hard to wash your face without splashing water on the floor :P No major flaws though

Hot tub was great after walking 38 miles of walking over 2 days along the Camino Mozarabe Santiago!

We loved the place, and Mike was so friendly and accommodating. The best thing was the view from the living room of the castle and the mountains, spectacular, especially the castle at night. Watching the birds do their thing and the peacefulness made it a lovely relaxing stay. Only sorry it was the wrong time of year for a dip in the pool, but we enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi. We wont hesitate to come back when we're next over! Fantastic value for money and perfect for the two of us. Thanks Mike and hope to see you again soon 🙂

The steep climb although short was a lot on the first day from the route given from the car park, mostly because we'd been climbing hills elsewhere for three days. However we found an easier route on the first night going right out of the gate and down the steps before heading down towards the car park. Only a few minutes longer so fine for us as avoided the steep bit. Shower curtain was a bit clingy because of being a small space, but managed to adjust the direction of shower head to stop it.

The cleanliness (especially outside) was extremely poor and there was no hot water so cold showers

The property was a nice quiet little retreat to get away from the normal hustle and bustle. Lots going on and totally good value for money. I found it a really friendly safe town to visit. I wish Mike the host all the best and hope he continues with what he's doing as he does it very well. Thank you. Will see you again soon 😀

Was a little bit confusing on how to get to the property as its an old town and I relied on Google maps on narrow streets/ one way system. This is not the hosts fault 😀.

We were doing some house hunting in the area and the location was very good. The facilities were excellent, quite a lot packed into a small space. The pool and jacuzzi were a really useful addition, and the sort of feature you wouldn't expect at this price. The owner was very informative and communicative. All in all, a very nice 3 days.

Not much to be fair. Perhaps the shower cubicle could do with changing, but it's functional and the shower good. Also, the door to exit to the street is difficult to manage for someone who perhaps isn't that strong. Neither were a major issue for us.

Stunning wee flat, own pool and hot tub gorgeous outside space to relax. Inside lots of ice little attention to detail. Didn’t cook but kitchen looked fine, everything you need for a few nights.

Bed is comfy but SO squeaky, even moving in it is super loud.
