Paparoa Beach Hideaway with Hot Tub

Take own supplies. Nice big fridge and all helpful utensils were supplied. Great BBQ.

Need to take in all food supplies but there is nowhere to put it, although fridge was a decent size. Bathroom floor was damaged with large cracks sealed up.

Absolutely stunned when we arrived. The place is beautifully secluded, surrounded by stunning nature with a gorgeous sea view. Cosy, thoughtfully decorated, and wonderfully inviting, with a charming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. Everything was spotless and clearly very well cared for. We loved the hot tub and the walk down to the beach. We only wish we had stayed longer than one night!

Property was lovely. Easy to find, beautiful gardens and views, within walking distance of a lovely, nearly deserted beach. Facilities in the unit were great, kitchen had a complete range of utensils and equipment and they even had things like oil and kitchen roll. The owners provided loads of towels so there were plenty for the hot tub and the shower. If we are ever fortunate enough to visit that part of the world again, we would definitely want to stay here again.

I didn’t love how enclosed the hot tub was - I appreciate that this is to keep the sandflies away, but it would have been nice to have it a bit more open to enjoy the views more. This really is a very small issue though and, as I say, completely understandable.

Stunning

We stayed in the one bedroom cabin and highly recommend it. We especially liked the walkways through the garden and stream, which was excellent for bird watching.
