Starvegoose Cottage

The property was beautiful, very clean with very comfortable bed and a gorgeous big shower. Very cosy with the fire and was great to look out at the views.

Starvegoose Cottage was fabulous. We loved the 5 nights we stayed there and would have loved to have stayed longer. The cottage feels like home from home. The surroundings are wonderful. Can’t recommend it enough.

Re Our stay at Starvegoose cottage was amazing, and we will return. The cottage is beautiful, warm, welcoming and homeley and has all you need and more. The host is lovely, she made sure we were ok and she met us at the cottage with a roaring log fire 🔥 The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful and perfect for a break away. We have stayed 8 nights and it flew by. The cottage is extremely well equiped with all you need and more. Truely a home from home. Cant wait to return.

Peaceful and attractive farm location

It was light and airy with all the basics provided. I loved the quiet & peaceful location with house martins flying overhead & bats in the evening. Great walks directly from the door.

Marion was a great host and met me on arrival.

It's a thoughtfully set up place in a beautiful location. Everything you need has been provided. The bed is super comfortable. The shower is large with plenty of hot water. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved the combination of wood stove and under floor heating. And the countryside is glorious. We'd gladly come back again. There is a pretty little village at the top of the hill and we got groceries and supplies in nearby Hawkhurst. This is a good base for touring: Royal Tunbridge Wells, Hever Castle, Sissinghurst and Canterbury.

The only problem we had was that the car's satnav couldn't find it, although Google maps dealt with it easily.

Beautiful quiet location, near National Trust properties and pretty villages

A little wasp nest outside the bedroom window, and snails in the living room at night. But maybe that's just the English summer...
