House was freezing cold, despite contacting owner regarding the heating the heating system would not work, owner was unable to sort this out and gave us option of cancelling, after contacting Booking.com they agreed to cancel this booking with no charges, unfortunately we had to change our plans that evening, we could not even have lit the log burner to give heat as the glass on front of it was broken. Sadly wouldn’t stay here again.
GBGreat location in the heart of the village. House deceptively bigger than you imagine when you arrive. Comfortable sitting room. Lovely decor and felt very homely.
Internal front door step caught all of us - needs to be signposted. Initially couldn't find wifi details - a visitors book would help. Confused about towels and where to put laundry.
