Shower / hot water was a bit temperamental.

We love to stay at this property. House is big and comfortable. We were received by the owners who are very friendly. They offered us home made jam, beer, drinks. Kitchen is complete and you don’t need to worry with small things as salt, oil and many other things were available. We felt completely at home. We also travelled with our cat, who also felt very relaxed in the house.

What an amazing house if you are chasing the rustic feeling with full comfort. The house contains everything you need, from clothes detergent to cookies 😁 A lot of thought was given to offer the guests maximum comfort.

A bit far away from town, but not a deal breaker.

The hosts prepared us a warm fire and a table full of home-made delicacies upon our arrival. You feel welcome and at home.

Wonderful stay. We really love the stay. House is spacious. And amazing and really helpful people. Hosts is just a message away to help you. Will come again in winters.

Our host Ricardo was very welcoming, generous and helpful. A delicious cake, nuts, fruit, beer, home made jam and a roaring fire were waiting for us on our arrival. The house was very spacious, 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and spotlessly clean. A beautiful traditional property. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Thank you, Ricardo 🙏

This is not really a 'didn't like'. We happened to visit when it snowed, so it was much colder than we expected, and we were a bit anxious about driving down the zig-zag roads, but Ricardo assured us that the snowplough would be out and the snow turned slushy very quickly as we descended...

A lovely traditional big Portuguese home and very welcoming hosts who provided many wonderful extras. Excellent walking right on your doorstep and excellent value for money.

We did have to move into another bedroom for a more comfortable mattress
