Safe, Accessible Venue Near Muizenberg for Accommodation and Events

The house was very comfortable and the owner Neil was very friendly and accommodated me and my family very well. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family, our kids loved to relax in the pool and the area is also very quiet and relaxing.

The weekend went too quick 😔 but our next stay would definitely be longer.

I absolutely loved everything about the place.

On arrival we were met with contractors on site still busy rushing around cleaning up. Loads of rubble laying around on the property. The floors were absolutely filthy, my granddaughter who is disabled crawled around and her hands were black within minutes after arriving. On our first night curtain rails fell off, there was a horrible smell in the bathrooms, drains were blocked. The pool had a green algae along the top after day 3. The BBQ area was so filthy it had dead cockroaches in it. We never got to use it as it would need some serious sterilizing. During our stay, we had so many contractors on the property without any warning, at some point someone was drilling & chiseling after 6pm. After approaching the owner we were met with loads of excuses and nonchalant attitude. Mr Miller asked not to leave a bad review in exchange for a partial refund. We feel that we have to be honest so we can warn other booking.com customers.

The place is perfect for a large group of people and it's kid friendly, it was our 2nd time staying at the place and we enjoy it because it's comfortable and everyone gets to have their own bathrooms/ personal space. The kitchen is also fitted with all the necessitys making it convenient. The host is also very accomodating. We will stay their again if traveling with a group.

There isnt secure parking but it is a secure area so I guess that's fine....The sliding doors don't lock but there is trallidor gates. Some room doors didn't lock. The place could use a spring cleaning every now and again to maintain and up keep the place as it really is a very nice holiday house but obviously having different people over each time if not maintained it will start to lose it's essence.

The location was perfect and the area is safe. The host is very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and comfortable. My family enjoyed it thoroughly. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV was an added bonus. Private bathrooms in all bedrooms. The pool is well kept along with the entertainment area. Neil even provided a kennel for our 3-month-old pup. We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend there. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
