Brome House

Warm and comfortable. Bedlinen good.

Parking was limited. Sofas not very comfortable,. Would like more cutlery and mugs.

The house was really well equipped, the size was pleasantly deceiving and the beds were super comfortable. Parking is perfectly located behind the property and additional parking very close if needed. There is also an enclosed dog park immediately in front of the house. Pauline, the host was also incredibly helpful and quick at responding to enquiries.

A minor negative, the lounge area would not comfortably accommodate the amount of people the house sleeps (7). A large U shape, or two L shape sofa might be more suitable for the space. However, there was plenty of space to sit on the floor and/or bring chairs from the dining table.

Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.The description doesn't say that the second floor double bedroom had an ensuite shower and toilet.

Some of the decor especially downstairs was in need of freshening up.Broken doors in kitchen

Mattresses on the soft side. Instructions for finding the house could be better. You actually park in a road called Woodlands, which isn't mentioned.

Good size for our party of 5 adults and 2 small children. It was very clean . Kitchen was quite well equipped.

Parking was very difficult . There was meant to be an assigned parking space in front of the garage but this was unusable because there were so many rubbish bind there . That rear access road was also pretty narrow . The house decor could do with a refresh - a fair bit of chipped paintwork and scuffed walls . The house was also unbelievably creaky . The rear yard/garden area could do with some work .

Lovely little house very near to a wedding venue we were attending. Quiet location too. Bedrooms were lovely and check in and out was super easy. Not mentioned in the description but it was very near a small shopping parade which was super useful. Appreciated the biscuits - thank you. X

The parking space mentioned at the rear of the property was blocked by a big pile of rubbish and lots of wheelie bins. That said , there were plenty of other places to park on surrounding roads just a short walk away. Possibly another comfy chair in the lounge would be nice, for a place that sleeps seven, the small sofa’s weren’t quite big or comfortable enough and had to move a dining chair in.
