Lazy Bear Lodge Northumberland

Very modern and clean. Good facilities and communication with host. The lodge was easy to find and very comfortable. We really appreciated the welcome basket and the extra Christmassy touches.

Everything was lovely but took us a while to figure out the heating.

It was the ideal location for a family get together in the village. It was self catering which meant we could cook food to suit our dietary needs. The property is well presented and we felt at home. Lots of thought has gone into providing many of the essentials you need. We very much appreciated the Morpeth Ground Coffee and cafitierre. Other thoughtful touches were a lovely welcome pack with Border biscuits.

Only two things, the gas oven and grill did not ignite despite repeated efforts. It was late at night on our last day, so perhaps it could have been rectified with ease but we did not want to ring at such a late hour. The good thing is that there were other resources to reheat the food using the gas hob, or microwave. Pleased I had brought my indoor slippers, uncarpeted flooring at this time of year is very cold.

Our stay was excellent! It had everything we needed and more! Thank you so much for the welcome basket! We'll look forward to staying here again

The location was perfect, you could hear the wind on the trees. The lodge was immaculate and the welcome basket meant a lot to my family.

I cannot say anything really. Maybe a larger pot to make pasta? But we managed to treat ourselves perfectly.

Very clean and everything you need toiletries, towels etc, tea, coffee and a wonderful welcome basket

Nothing it was just a shame we didn’t get chance to sit on the decking because we were out and about so much

It had everything you could need ,spotlessly clean it was a hot week we went and the decking area is a dream we could chill out and really enjoy the last of the summer sun ☀️ comfy bed big and spacious. Lucy even left some treats which were gratefully received..thank you 😊
