Cliff House Holiday Cottages

We had a lovely stay for my birthday and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool time with my little granddaughter Florence.

It was cosy and once we perfected the open fires the cottages were warm to. Nothing to dislike at all.

Good location, beautiful area. Lovely cottage. Well equipped with everything you needed. Lots of information on the area around.

The bathroom door kept getting jammed. Quite a lot of traffic noise at night from the bedroom.

The Pear Loft was well set out and it’s a quirky property which is easily accessible for other local attractions. There are two local pubs which both offer food the Grapes is within walking distance the Coach House is a short drive away.

The shower was a little on the weak side and the bathroom is probably ready for an upgrade but it’s very clean and functional.

So so clean, everything you could need for your stay, excellent location to explore North Yorkshire.

Noise leak from downstairs flat. Don't think a lot could be done though about barking dog!

The owner was friendly.

There were low beams and restricted height in some rooms, so we bumped our heads. There was no privacy, particularly in the bedroom and kitchen. It was noisy early in morning. The kitchen was poorly equipped. The bathroom was tiny with a smelly shower curtain, a tiny bath and poor ventilation. We used the shower in the pool so we didn't have to shower in the cottage. It was poor value for money.

Beautiful setting and very quiet. Wonderful hosts. Great swimming pool and garden.
