The beds were comfortable. I liked the nonslip base in the shower. Nice big table in kitchen for us all to eat together.

There was a pair of men's boxer shorts on the kitchen floor Wen we arrived. We had to pull out one of the sofas as I'd dropped something and there was old foodstuffs on the floor. There were no hangers in the wardrobes. No teatowels. Couldn't switch fan off in shower so that was running during the night wen trying to sleep. There was too much furniture in the small living room area. 3 4 seater sofas, think 2 were sofa beds plus a coffee table and 2 units. None of the sofas were comfortable to sit on so we all got the pillows off our beds to support our backs. The big chair was also torn on both arms. Also, don't know why the owners advertise it as Holyrood House as it's just an ex council house to be honest which in itself isn't a problem but there were no pictures of the outside of the house wen booking!! We also thought that it was very overpriced.

Modern and nice decor, comfortable beds, very central - 15 minute walk to Edinburgh centre.

Only two bathrooms, one being en suite making it inconvenient for all the other people to use. Water regulation in the shower is tricky. We asked for more towels and toilet paper when asked if anything was needed but request was ignored.

Superb location and very cozy home. We will be back definitely!
