Fantastic central location

A very comfortable, well furnished, well located house with every facility, including both a washer and dryer. The kitchen overlooks a pretty small garden. A parking voucher is provided for nearby parking as the house is located in a very narrow street.

It was very hard to see the number of the property when we first arrived, it was covered by a climbing rose.

The home met all our needs. We used this as a jumping off spot to take day trips through the Highlands, rather than a destination itself. The host provided a parking pass for the area which was very important and there was a proper grocery store in easy walking distance so we did not have to move the car except to leave town. The internet was fast enough to stream, there were enough linens to be comfortable and there was enough space for everyone to retreat at the end of the day. I especially like the little garden in back.

The stock of pans, utensils and dishes meant we had to be a bit creative to cook a complete meal but there we a lot of resturants nearby so you don't have to cook. The one thing I wish I had known was there was quiet a bit of street noise. My husband and son slept through it, but for those who are light sleepers like me, plan to have earplugs or a source of white noise. You can hear cars, people talking and seagulls late into the night. I don't think there is anything the host could do differently, guests just need to be prepared.

Great facilities, a home from home. Clean well presented and ideal for our requirements. Would defiantly recommend book in the future.

my elderly parents found the stairs demanding. A handrail would solve the issue.
