Windmill Cottage

Lovely property, very comfortable beds and sofas. Gorgeous garden and the hot tub was amazing.

The location and the property was nice with everything needed. The owners supplied us with a care package which was a nice touch.

The property is located on the same grounds as the owner, which made it difficult to fully relax. This wasn’t mentioned in the description, and had we known, we wouldn’t have booked it. Another issue was the heating. It was set on a timer for just 2 2x two hours per day which made it too cold for the majority of our stay, and even then it didn’t always work properly. We often had to message the owner to turn it on, which felt quite uncomfortable and inconvenient. Additionally, the number of CCTV cameras around the property felt excessive and intrusive, especially for a holiday that was meant to be relaxing.

A cute little cottage with everything folks need when away from home. The Garden at the back is adorable and if the weather had been better, and we weren't so busy exploring, we would have used it more and possibly the new Hot Tub and the BBQ. We loved seeing the windmill working.

The lock/handle on the right side stable doors ( which I love BTW) can only work from the outside, so you have to open the upper door and reach outside to get out. The heating tended to cut out , but as soon as I messaged Debbie she got it to turn back on and then it was lovely and warm. The Shower in the down stairs bathroom is so powerful it knocks the Shower head of the rail and it sprays the whole room ( just a bit of clearing up required after we stopped laughing). the aerial to the tv needs some attention in the siting room . These days are all minor maintenance issues which Im sure will be seen to before next visitors arrive.

Debbie & Paul were fantastic hosts, the cottage was very well-equipped, everything top quality. Will definitely return.

The location was perfect for the walks that we planned and the cottage was comfortable, quiet and very well equipped.

The only minor thing was that we woke early in the upstairs room as one of the skylight windows didn’t have a blind, but it was not a problem.

Great location with a coffee shop/wine bar/micro brewery a short walk away. Only 15 min drive to Worthing town centre and great walks nearby. Spotless accommodation (bigger bath towels please!) and the hosts were very friendly and communicative. Thank you Debbie!

Pretty little cottage, equipped with everything you need for your stay. Tastefully decorated and very clean. Being able to take our small dog with us was a bonus. Hosts very informative, they also let us know their family would be coming into our garden whilst we were there to water the flowers. Beds very comfortable, we all slept well. Cottage location is idea for visiting other seaside towns. The view of the windmill was lovely.

The cottage is located in the hosts driveway next to their home. Garden much smaller than we thought. Unfortunately the pictures do not show this. We appreciate the need for security today but there were many CCTV camera’s close and overlooking the cottage. One directly outside the bedroom doors that led out to the garden. This is a personal preference but we did not feel comfortable sitting outside or in the garden. Once our booking was made a £200 damages deposit was requested to be paid. I had not realised this but is returned very quickly after checks we made.
