Great layout, beautiful decor

There is no place to hang towels in the main bedroom, the dishwasher was broken, you couldnt open the bottom drawer, there were alot of fine glass in the single bed rooms. Needs some attention to basics.

A perfect family home for weekend away, the beach is 2 minute walk to the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped, the inside fire place was lovely on the chilly Friday afternoon when we arrived. The lounge has a theater vibe with all the benches and big screen. Would definitely recommend and we definitely going back to this big family holiday house :)

Airy and big and nicely decorated

The host and her mother were extremely rude on our second and last day. We had to let ourselves in but then ran out of gas mid braai not knowing what to do 21-00 in the evening. There were no pamphlet as mentioned on what to do with maggot infested garbage from the previous guests nor did we expect empty gas bottles on our arrival. The plates were dirty in the cupboards and the dishwasher blocked and did not wash clean. On the last day the host’ mother walked into our private patio space uninvited without prior arrangement and started insulting husband in front of our guests. Her words: I am living across the street and I am watching everything and you don’t even know it’, saying to my sister that she can’t believe ‘men’ in front of my husband. I was seconds from driving to the police station to report this rude invasion. We paid over R4000 per day for the whole house and she was also making a scene on the fact that there is more people than booked. We booked a 6 sleeper house and 6 of the 7 days we were only 3 people in the house. On the last day due to a crisis we had my sister, her husband and 2 little kids staying for a night on their way due to a sudden crisis and slept 6 with one little boy on the couch downstairs. The shower could barely be showered under with dripping at best and were told, sorry that is the water pressure. Never in our life have we been treated with such disrespect.
