Very friendly host

We loved the fact that the owner was there to greet us (which often doesn't happen these days). The cottage itself was lovely and very traditional with everything we needed plus an excellent internet speed (much better than our home speed). There is a pool and sunbathing area with sunbeds but as we arrived after 6pm we didn't use these. Parking is onsite and secure (there are electric gates) so if you're stopping here en route to somewhere else and have a car full of luggage then you know it'll be safe.

My very small suggestion is that the owner provides a chopping board for self-caterers (like us) to use.

The owner is a lovely friendly guy that lives in the main house. His elderly dog is friendly and sweet natured. She lays on his porch out of the way. Full kitchen, TV with cable, WiFi, seimming pool all summer

Has all the facilities but not modern or designer if that's what you want. It's surrounded by farm land, railway not far and dogs did back nextdoor. Didn't bother us but some may not like this.

The owner was very pleasant
