I loved everything about that place, the owners are such wonderful people , friendly and very welcoming..it was a home away from home in a peaceful place . highly recommend it for anyone looking for serenity

Incredible value for money. Our unit had morning views of giraffes, zebra and various buck. The unit is stunningly decorated as well with modern touches and finishes. The hosts are incredibly friendly and their restaurant makes the best pizzas and ribs that can be delivered right to your doorstep. Good speed wifi with a smart TV with Netflix & Amazon Prime. The farm has many things to do and see as well. The restaurant and bar are also pretty well priced. The 800G Ribs and Sunset Pizza was very delicious. Paired with their in-house bottled wine and its a lovely day in.

Just be aware that when there is no power, there is no water either. But this should not deter you too much as the host has a generator that can be turned on upon request. She is always a whatsapp/call away and she is so friendly and approachable. Also, you may want to travel in an SUV/off-road vehicle. It can be slightly bumpy making your way to OppiePlaas but such is farm life. We managed in a small hatchback, albeit with some bumps. This is just the terrain and not within the control of the host.

Absolutely beautiful scenery, with the lush green landscape and the ocean view in the far distance. If you lucky, you will wake up to giraffes herding around.

Not much bad to say, maybe the monkeys making noise on the roof, but the dogs end up keeping them in-line.

"Quality and taste in a rural setting of vistas of sea and sky."

The cottage is very spacious and well appointed. A quiet and private position. Meals were generous and tasty and catered for Vegetarian. Only an hour from home is also easy to enjoy getting there and back.

We enjoyed it all.Including natures generosity with a huge overnight storm.
