Highfields lodge

The hot tub and the decking area with seating - so relaxing, overlooking a beautiful field and so peaceful. We felt like we were in a lovely little holiday bubble without a care in the world! Really friendly helpful hosts Sam & Alison - thank you!

The bunk beds are probably not best for adults as they are thin and shorter than a normal single bed! Bunk bed mattresses slightly springy but I believe they are considering upgrading these soon. Other than that everything was perfect.

Beautifully kept lodge house with lots of nice small touches thrown in. Stunning views from the balcony with immaculate hot tub as a bonus. Everything was spotless and comfortable. Kids loved roaming around the grounds and Sam and Alison kindly let us use play areas, trampoline and zip line. Great friendly hosts who nothing was a bother too and helped with where to go and what was nice in the area for us as a family. Will definetly be returning.

Leaving

Perfect location for the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway which was the purpose of our visit. The owners were lovely and very helpful. The property was in a very peaceful location yet just a short stroll from the shops, a lovely grassy playing field to exercise our dog and, of course, Dymchurch station.

Fantastic hosts and venue. Sam and Alison were really friendly, warm and welcoming. My husband, I and our 2 boys stayed here for 3 nights and we all had a wonderful relaxing time. The beach is a few mins walk away as are shops and restaurants etc. We visited Port Lymphe, Safari park and this is a great base if you are planning a visit. The Romsey, Hythe and Dymchurch railway runs along the bottom of the garden which was a treat for my son, a plus for any train fan! Their adorable pets were an added bonus for my kids. The views from the lodge are beautiful. Overall, I would definitely recommend this venue.

Well maintained property and garden. very friendly hosts, great location, great view from deck, short walk to beach and shops, hot tub on deck. Dogs had free reign of large enclosed and well maintained garden. Lovely large shower Added bonus was to learn that the cabin was built upon a WW2 bunker

Purely due to the breed of dogs we have, the stairs up to the front and back door were a slight inconvenience (dogs could not go up and down the stairs by themselves)

Everything amazing 👏 🤩 I felt like I was in heaven accommodation outstanding clean, great shower and very comfortable beds. I really felt the place was made with love and attention. Icing on the cake was the hot tub at sunset absolutely beautiful views perfection 👌

Great location, the views were fantastic and the hot tub was great for kids and adults.

Everything was great but if I was to be picky then we probably needed more chairs for the living room

The location was perfect, so close to the beach with amazing views. We stayed with our nervous rescue dog. We really enjoyed the privacy, walks and hot tub. The lodge has everything you need in it, a very relaxing stay.

Amazing lodge with fantastic views & the trains running along the back garden. Clean comfortable & excellent host who allowed us the whole use of his garden, including the zip wires for my daughter. Thank you Sam
