Lovely touches including biscuits and bowls for our dog, with everything to hand and milk, tea, coffee and other essentials so we could travel light for our two night stay.

"Excellent little find with great hosts"

Hassle free arrival and leaving procedures. Host available by WhatsApp and responds really quickly but doesn’t ’check in’ or watch over you at all.

It’s located on a busy fast main road - the long driveway means noise is minimal and you soon blank out the railway line (didn’t even notice any noise after arrival). Turning right on the road as you exit can be a bit tricky as the entrance is on a bend. There were no incidences and we soon got use to it but it is worth knowing if you’re a nervous driver.

"Lovely, quiet and comfortable."

Blessed with good weather so made the most of the patio and outdoor table and chairs. Lovely woodland to walk through with amazing huge old trees. Cottage is attached but very quiet and no noise from other guests. Felt spacious, clean and very comfortable for a weekend stay. Parking right outside was brilliant and really helpful with loading the car. It was perfect for us as a family.

Not much it was a good stay. We didn’t need to use indoor table but it was a fold up one so grateful for outdoor one. Dishwasher would have been great. Didn’t like removing bed linen. It was a pain in the morning as leaving early and another thing to do.

Ideal for the dog . Location of railway station ideal to get into Manchester Piccadilly.
