Our House

Property is located in a badly run down area. There are no facilities (shops, bars, restaurants) within a safe walking distance. No aircon in the bedroom - temp was 29 degrees in the bedroom at midnight, unbearable. We left after 1 night.

Everything was wonderful: the rooms- I fell in love with the kitchen-, the facilities , the big windows- all with nets- overlooking the amazing garden; relaxing in the garden before and after sightseeing, (the magical colours and smells); the friendly and kind hosts, who were ready to help with whatever we needed- we soon felt like home. Having a safe place to park was a plus too. All these and many more, made our stay truly unforgettable . A big thank you to this lovely family. We want to visit again ,as soon as possible !

We liked everything .

the house was very homey, we even stayed the whole first day and enjoyed the garden/terrace only venturing out to the shop. the guesthouse is adjacent to the owner’s house, which is convenient but you get complete privacy. Demetra is a lovely and very caring host and she’s done her maximum to make our stay as pleasant as possible!

for us the only downsides were the very soft beds, low water pressure in the bath, and the inconvenience of having to take a bus to get anywhere. at night you would hear dogs barking, but it’s not so bad with the window closed.

It is a very nice place the garden is absolutely fantastic especially if you are traveling with children. Unfortunately we had a problem with booking the bigger apartment but it was not the fault of the host but of booking. The smaller apartment does not have air conditioning and we had 40 degrees everyday because we caught a very hot week there. But the bigger apartment is amazing. Unfortunately booking somehow did not show me this option but the host was so supportive and tried to help us in every way possible. They are incredible people that helped us with everything. Recommendations for beaches, restaurants , car rentals, food . It felt like i was at home with my family.. honestly i would always go back because the host was a delight. They provided us with umbrellas for the beach and beach towels even a small ice bag to take on the beach for drinks. They always took the time to talk to us for every small detail. I recommend a car rental because it is impossible to visit the island without one. There are also buses to arrive in the center and the station is close to the apartment so there are other options to arrive to the city center. All in all it was an amazing experience and i am glad i met so helpful and kind people that share the same passion for traveling as i do.

Great garden, quiet area.

The property is well maintained and looks beautiful. The garden is full of trees and flowers.

Airconditioning would make it better during high summer. It was too warm.

The house was clean and comfortable, location was great, host was very kind and welcoming and gave us great tips for the island.

It was a beautiful house, clean and nice location. Not far from the city and easily reachable by bus. The host was very nice and responded quickly and helped a lot with transport information.

There was no airconditioning. There were fans but they were very loud, so not nice to keep running when trying to sleep. The shower head could not be fixed to the wall and there was no shower curtain.

It was very difficult to find the property as there are no proper addressess in this area. But the owner lady helped us through phone and waited us on location. Lovely place with lovely host. Access to city centre only by car.
