NEWLY LISTED Townhouse Storey Lake, Free Waterpark

Location good, general facilities good

Not enough dishes / plates (lots of plastic dishes stained and not enough china plates or dishes). Paintwork needs a lot of touching up at low level in particular.

Location was close to everything. Very clean, quiet and safe area. The pool was amazing. The club house had many things for the kids to do.

Pool needed cleaning when we arrived but the host took care of it immediately. Everything was exceptional.

Easy to access restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores which was convenient.

I found this property to be lacking in quite a few areas. First, there is no Wifi, which is a pain if you’re an international traveller. Nowhere did I see advertised that wifi wasn’t included so I assumed access would be available and was surprise to find out it wasn’t. The unit has 3 washrooms which a tub or shower stall, however, there was a shower curtain missing in one of the showers which meant that we could only use two of the remaining washrooms, more of an inconvenience than anything. There was also a huge piece of glass that I pulled up from the carpet in one of the bedrooms which made me wonder, in spite of the clean smell, how well the property had been vacuumed. I was very disappointed with the amenities, primarily because we couldn’t access them, in spite of the advertisement which drew me to this property. When I inquired into accessing the waterpark, the owner did not know how to do so and referred me to the property manager whom I had no way of contacting. This was a pretty big disappointment as we were travelling with a child and would have liked to spend some time at the pool and ultimately couldn’t. I don’t understand how the owner couldn’t know this information, due to how the property is advertised, and I was told no one had ever asked about the access before which I found especially odd. Lastly, I found the check-in process to be quite tedious and disorganized. I received a message from the owner about check-in time a few days before our arrival. I confirmed we would like to check-in an hour before the scheduled time and was denied. In my mind, this defeated the purpose of asking in the first place. What really irritated me is that after multiple attempts to contact the owner, we also didn’t have a code for the door. Eventually, after 30 minutes on the phone with Booking.com, the owner finally provided the access code for the door.

Great property, plenty of room for our family. The clubhouse pool area was nice as well.

We had a great holiday staying at this townhouse at Storey Lake. The kids loved the pool, very clean and had everything you need. The clubhouse was a 2 minute walk away and was a great place to go when you need a break from the theme parks.

Loved this house, it suited our needs as a family and had everything. It was located in a lovely quiet gated community with a pool. The pool was nice and we used it when we weren’t at the parks. We would have struggled without a car to get to Universal and Volcano Bay but great location for Disney. Lydia was a lovely host and made herself available for anything we needed. Recommend for sure.
