The house was very damp, and mold was visible in almost every room. Unfortunately, the smell was also unbearable.

Las vistas, las camas, la comodidad de aparcar en la casa, la casa en general er acogedora, la amabilidad de la propietaria haciendonos recomendaciones de lugares que visitar y restaurantes donde comer o cenar. Lástima de la olor a humedad que notabamos al entrar.

We had an amazing stay at Live La Laguna Casita Vieja! The house is incredibly cozy and felt like a perfect little home away from home. The kitchen was very well equipped, which made it easy to cook, and we really appreciated having a washing machine and heating panels as well. One of our favorite parts was the terrace! It was so relaxing to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views in the sunshine. Maria, the owner, was extremely kind and helpful, giving us great local recommendations that made our stay even better. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to experience Tenerife closer to nature, enjoy a peaceful setting, and spend time on a beautiful sunny terrace while staying in a cozy home.

La ubicación de la casita es estupenda, en un entorno muy bonito, justo en la base de la montaña de La Laguna, con muchas rutas y zonas para hacer senderismo. Es necesario tener vehículo para desplazarse, pero dispone de parking privado, lo cual resulta muy práctico. Nosotras nos alojamos cinco noches, aunque tuvimos muy mal tiempo y no pudimos disfrutar del entorno tanto como nos habría gustado. Como puntos positivos, los colchones eran cómodos, dormimos bien y siempre tuvimos agua caliente. También nos gustaría destacar que la vecina, María, fue muy amable y estuvo dispuesta a ayudarnos si necesitábamos cualquier cosa o teníamos alguna duda, lo cual agradecimos mucho.

La casa en sí es práctica y podría ser muy cómoda, pero actualmente está bastante deteriorada. Creemos que se beneficiaría mucho de una rehabilitación y de un mantenimiento más adecuado. Encontramos bastante suciedad, ventanas y cortinas sucias, muchos elementos muy viejos y bastante olor a humedad dentro de los armarios. La cocina tampoco estaba muy bien equipada. Por otro lado, la persona que gestiona la comunicación telefónica para el check-in no fue especialmente agradable y la llegada no fue muy buena, ya que la atención recibida no fue la más adecuada. Es una pena, porque con un mejor cuidado de la casa y un trato más amable en la gestión, la experiencia podría ser mucho más agradable.

Not much since it was totally infested with bugs. They were centipedes or similar ones. It looks like they have nested insite the walls or the roof area

Besides the bugs (they were literally everywhere!) the strong smell of fungus due to humidity is quite bad. To be honest I wouldn't even allow the property to receive any guests...

The property is very traditional and full of character, with a beautiful view from the terrace. The host was friendly and welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. Overall, it feels like a great place to stay during the summer months when the weather is warm and you can really enjoy the outdoor space.

The house was quite cold in winter, even with the electric fan heaters provided. I would not recommend this property for families with small children during the winter season. There were also many millipedes on the floor and walls, especially after rain. They are part of the local nature and not harmful, but having so many around the house was unpleasant.

The view is great from the terrace, the facilities are good, and the host is excellent at responding. There was no hot water when I arrived, however it was fixed within a matter of hours. The hill where the house is situated is steep, so be aware if you don't like an uphill walk back.

La Laguna Casita Vieja Positiv hervorzuheben ist der herzliche Empfang, die ruhige und gleichzeitig zentrale Lage, dass kleine, gemütliche Doppelbett und die äußere Schönheit des Hauses. Das Haus selbst war eher kalt, es sind aber elektrische Heizungen vorhanden.

Beim ersten Betreten des Hauses kam uns ein muffiger Geruch entgegen. Dieser verschwand nach ausführlichem Lüften. Die auf den Bildern einladend wirkende Galerie ist vollgestellt mit privaten Sachen und verhängt mit Decken. Die Einrichtung des Hauses wirkt wahllos und wenig einladend. Es stehen viele Gegenstände herum die wenig ästhetischen Mehrwert liefern. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden. Der Besteckschub war dreckig. Das Geschirr und Besteck sind wahllos zusammengewürfelt und wirken stark abgenutzt. Insgesamt wirken das Haus und die Außenanlagen ungepflegt und heruntergekommen. Als wir an unserem ersten Abend zurück in das Haus kamen krochen hunderte Tausendfüßler an den Hauswänden und der Eingangstür. Leider mussten wir feststellen das diese auch problemlos unter der geschlossenen Eingangstür in das Haus gelangt sind. Sie verteilten sich zu hunderten auf dem Boden, den Wänden und der Küchenzeile. Wir verbrachten zwei Stunden damit die Tausendfüßler zu beseitigen. Am nächsten Morgen berichteten wir unserer Gastgeberin von diesem Vorkommnis. Durch sie erfuhren wir das an der unteren Türkannte deshalb bereits ein Tür Besen angebracht wurde, dieser dichtete die Tür jedoch offensichtlich nicht ab. Offensichtlich hatten Vormieter bereits ebenfalls mit dem Problem zu kämpfen, da wir 2 Dosen Ungezieferspray im Haus fanden von dem die Vermieterin nichts wusste. Wegen der Tausendfüßler konnten wir auch die Terrasse nur bedingt nutzen, da überall die kleinen "Tierchen" herumwuselten. Wir hatten während unserem Aufenthalt noch zwei weitere Unterkünfte in der gleichen Preiskategorie. In diesen war alles wunderbar und wir konnten dort keine der hier von uns negativ aufgeführten Punkte feststellen. Wir finden es sehr schade das wir diese Erfahrung machen mussten, hätte das Haus selbst doch eine Menge Potenzial eine schöne Ferienunterkunft zu sein…

Nous sommes partis immédiatement après avoir constaté une infestation d'espèces de vers partout dans la maison. Il y en avait des milliers sur la façade principale et sur la terrasse et ils étaient partout dans la maison: chambre pour dormir, salle de bain, jusque dans la douche!!! Donc nous sommes restés 1 heure le temps de voir l'étendu des dégâts et nous avons pris une autre réservation. Depuis l'hôte refuse de nous rembourser toujours 1 mois après, nous avons porté une réclamation auprès de Booking.
