Wonderful view from the family room/entertainment area. Well located and well equipped.

House was clean but could do with some upgrading. Water pressure is very low in the showers/bath.

The most outstanding feature was the sunroom/braai room. The staff response to the water pressure issue was prompt.

Very dated. The property has numerous floor and wall cracks which gives an impression of poor maintenance. Bedrooms are small. A good facelift should include exterior painting. Its not a very comforting first impression.

The tranquility

We recently stayed at this property and unfortunately our experience was disappointing, mainly due to poor maintenance and unacceptable hygiene standards. Several maintenance issues were immediately noticeable. The main bedroom window could not open at all. Although there was a note about this, the blind on the same window was broken with no warning provided, which led to further inconvenience. Door hinges throughout the house desperately need oiling as everything creaks loudly. The washing line outside is worn and hanging in shreds. In the braai/TV room there is no blind or curtain, which makes it extremely uncomfortable in the late afternoon when the sun shines directly in. The cutlery is very old and the knives are completely blunt. However, the biggest concern by far was hygiene. The carpets appear not to have been cleaned in years. The living room couch was visibly dirty and unpleasant to sit on. The loose cushions were also dirty and clearly not washed regularly. The blankets stored in the living room basket smelled bad and felt unclean. In the kitchen we found dirty plates in the cupboard and had to wash items before we could even use them. I am giving this honest feedback because these are basic standards that guests should be able to expect. With proper cleaning and attention to maintenance, this property could be greatly improved, but in its current condition I cannot recommend it. Overall, our stay was uncomfortable and did not meet acceptable accommodation standards.

Was in a lock box and communication was prompt on how to retrieve them.

The view was phenomenal. Took me less than 2 minutes to walk to the lagoon. It was also close to shops. I really loved the indoor braai facility
