Comfortable 3 BR Craftsman Bungalow in Milwaukee's Bay View Neighborhood

This home was prefect! It's tucked into the Bay View neighborhood. It's walking distance to the main street with shops and restaurants, but you have the peace & quiet and the privacy that comes with being in a neighborhood. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe in this neighborhood. The home is well appointed and had everything that I needed. I appreciated the Keurig coffee, the smart TVs, and the balcony off the kitchen. It's also nice that there's a formal dining area and one bedroom on the main floor. There's also a washer & dryer in the basement! There is a park about two blocks away where my dog could play, which was an added bonus. There is a large baseball field and playground, for those with children. I purchased a parking permit online and it was very seamless! I didn't have any issues with parking in front of the house.

Can't think of anything negative. The home was great!

I purposefully picked this place with hanging out in Bayview in mind and neither one disappointed.

We were thrown off by the sound limitation, not the ask as a courtesy we should be considerate, but more so how it’s measured, not knowing where the speakers/receptors were placed throughout (bedroom) and the $500.00+ fee that would entail. We travelled with our dog, although she’s lovely, she’s still a dog and a hound so she may howl at times and this made me nervous about the fee and noise restriction.

The location was seconds (walking) to the KK shops and restaurants. We have family in the area and the home was walkable to their home.

There were no ice cube trays to make ice and no condiments (other than regular cane sugar). It would have been nice to have other sweetener for coffee and/or tea. It also would have been nice to have cooking oil or other staples in the kitchen. Having what seemed to be the primary bedroom on the second floor, it made it inconvenient to have to go to the first floor to use the bathroom overnight.

Great location! Free parking right off the street. We Uber-ed easily (and cheaply) to the third Ward. Rooms were nice and spacious. Kitchen had lots of extras: coffee, sugar, paper towels etc. Smart TV was great, too. Beds were comfy. Could sit on the back porch or front porch. Would highly recommend! John was super and quick at responding to questions. Thank you for sharing your home!

The location was perfect and the neighbourhood was very nice and within access of shops and transport.

Overall we were happy with the property. The front porch didn't look very tidy and looked like it hadn't been swept for some time. We could have done with some information on using some of the kitcchen appliances, but we managed fine with everything in the end.

A second upstairs bathroom would be perfect.
