New and pristine

Clean and smart property with good facilities. The smart controls for the bath were really good too.

In places the cleaning could have been better, there was scale on some of the taps, particularly in the bathrooms, and on the shower screens. Also, the bedding was a bit lacking, some extra blankets would have been good.

Able to warm up in the 2 large rooms as the weather was very cold at the time of our visit.

The assumptions when we arrived to the property The lack of communication on the property owners side. The fact that extra rules were not stated on the app when I hired the property. The fact that the rules stated 'NO PARTIES' yet we found lots of wine glasses in many cupboards before we found a tea cup to make ourselves a cup of tea!

There wasn't a breakfast we didn't expect any.

Communication prior to the visit was difficult with the owner and any booking agent., especially over key handover. Also I booked for 2 adults and 2 children, and the booking kept referring to us as 4 adults. Don't know if this made any difference in price as we were satisfied with the price anyway.

The home is lovely, warm, modern, very homely and well maintained

Didn't receive an email or txt with a code for the lock box, took a little while for contact. Hot water wasn't hot enough for a bath. Cups and pans could do with new ones Sheets - could do with warmer sheets for winter
