Brand New Home - Central Masterton

Great stay at a clean, warm and modern home. Facilities were good. Penty of space.

Camera at the door was a bit unnerving. Felt like we were being watched all the time on entering and leaving.

The house was modern, well-maintained and clean.

There was no key in lockbox upon arrival and we waited in the drizzle. Host seemed grumpy and unwelcoming when he showed up. I felt uncomfortable, like we were being watched. He charged me 30 dollars each for two more people ($60!) but we required same number of beds/linens. Never could find any large towels. The kitchen was scantily equipped with one decent knife, a single hot mitt and no baking sheet. It was really hard to heat up the morning pastries! Expensive for a suburban home on a backlot, closely surrounded by neighbours and barking dogs.

Need internet access more kitchen utensils , cooking equipment and crockery

The house is stunning. Clean, modern.

No instructions on how to get the shower to give us hot water. All 5 of us had to have a cold shower. Not sure how to work the panel but spent 10mins trying to figure it out, both showers.

Lovely, new house. Had everything we needed.

location was good, back section property so no road noise.

Blinds in bedroom useless for keeping out light, suggest curtains. Towels were too small and perhaps use of softener might make experience nicer. Lack of soundproofing from main lounge (where large tv was placed) against small bedroom (wouldn't be good for a child if sleeping there). Doors/handles needed oiling as all creaked when opening. No additional blankets in rooms (we struck a cold night) don't tend to use heat pump whilst sleeping.

The property was very clean, everything we needed, close to where we had our event.

We only had problems with the internet, was very slow and lagging, apart from that everything was great.

Warm and well equipped

Beds weren't comfortable. Couches weren't comfortable. Wifi was terrible. Owner messaging early asking about extra people they'd seen on their camera

Air conditioning in the 3 bedrooms and lounge.Also coffee pod machine.
