Snowdon Street

It's in a great little spot on quite a quiet street. The house was very clean and cosy and great for 2 x couples. There was spare leads, a dog bed and bowls for the dogs which we thought was very sweet! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a couple meals, tea and coffee was available. There was also a secure little garden for the dogs to explore but the stairs up are quiet steep and wouldn't be suitable for older dogs or indeed people! The bathroom was lovely and the underfloor heating a nice extra as we're entering into winter! There was a good selection of books to read and the welcome pack gave great recommendations of what to do where to eat and what to see locally.

There was a wood burning stove in the living room but there was only one stick of kindling and one log with no log store so we couldn't put it on! There was also an 'honesty wine' system detailed in the welcome book where you could give £9 and take a bottle of wine if the shops were shut or you didn't want to venture out but there was none in the racking. Also, not a 'didn't like' but more of a 'would benefit from' is a mirror in each of the bedrooms. We were staying in the area for a party and the women had to do their hair and make up in the kitchen area where there was a mirror and plug. We also struggled to find the parking as the spray painted number on the ground had worn away and we arrived quite late at night. But none of these things would stop me from staying here again!

Location was perfect for our trip to Wales, would definitely stay here again! Garden was secure for our dog which is where we usually struggle when booking accommodation and have found previous 'pet friendly' accoms not accommodating at all. Snowdon Street was very pet friendly and it was a very nice touch to provide bowls and leads etc. The log burner and the use of Netflix also made the evenings really cosy and enjoyable! The parking was also opposite the house so was perfect for unloading and loading the car etc.

We were having to wash up plates and cutlery before use as there was still food on the plates etc that had been put back into the cupboard. Even a lump of what we believe was mango chutney on a dinner plate still... this was no hardship and is more on the previous holiday goers than the owner.

Lovely little spot, very clean for a dog friendly property which I was delighted about. Our daughter loved the little nook bed. Everything you need for a family stay really. The host agreed to let us arrive an hour early due to the heat and wanting to get the dog inside which I was very happy about.

Very little to complain about and it wouldnt stop us coming back-but: Due to heat we could have done with a fan Outside table would be good not being metal as we found it hot to touch and /or a parasol to use with it. We'd have loved some family games to play.

Great location to the village and Snowdon.
