The property was extremely neat and clean. The bed linens and towels were well washed. Sharath, the owner got us the breakfast himself in our preferred time. We were given enough options for breakfast and whatever we chose he had provided that. Also, he got us some local delicacies like Mangalore Buns, Goli Bajji. Bread, butter, eggs and fresh fruits were provided on the house.

The Home stay was very easily accessible. It is right on the Highway. The House was clean and Sharat was very helpful. The Home stay is also walkable to the beach. Though the Beach is not clean(nothing special).

The host was extremely cordial and friendly. He guided us through the city very nicely. He also suggested a mangrove boat ride which was mesmerizing.

Place was spacious. Inside the apartment was clean. The owner tries to help with any requests you have and had arranged things like fruits, bread, eggs etc. for us beforehand. This place has full fledged kitchen with fridge, stove, ample utensils. The owner also had a boat trip arranged for us which was a great experience. Both the rooms have AC, which we didn't use much but would be very useful in summer.

The location is a bit off from the main city so if you do not have your own transport, it gets a bit tricky to find cabs, autos. Uber, Ola are not effective here either. The owner tries to help and guide but a tip for anyone travelling here would be to plan for some rental transport for the duration of stay. There were some power issues during our stay where the fuse went off couple of times, once at late night, despite us being careful not to switch heavy electricals together. On calling the owner he did come and had it fixed though. The open yard space outside the apartment could be better maintained.

The stay in Tharavad was awesome, throughout the stay we never felt that we were staying in a rented apartment/house. The property is infront of the National Highway towards Goa/Pune/Mumbai, it's so covienient for tourists traveling by road,also a quiet location which easily accessible from the main road, towards KS Hegde hospitals & Medical accademy, and other prominent hospitals in Mangalore. The house was provided with all facilities (a large parking space for cars, bikes), toiletries; and the top attractions were free Wifi, all kitchen facilities like fridge, oven, cooking gas/stove, utensils, enough drinking water, milk, bread, eggs cheese, bananas, coffee/tea were all sufficiently stocked. It's having everything for family stays. There is a nearby market situated within one or two kilometre. Exactly like whatever facilities one should have in own house for a longer stay. Mr.Sharath the property manager can be reached by phone or WhatsApp for any clarification or help, and he always response promptly and happily guide you. Once you are there he consider you as his own family member 👍; great hospitality The only discomfort we felt was that the water pressure on the bath shower was not enough, however it can be managed as the toilets in are all provided with a large clean bucket/cup. Initially we made a booking for 4 nights, unfortunately due to some health issues among one of us we decided to leave one day earlier, and as we were not able to make amendments through online for the checkout, the matter was informed to booking.com who promptly coordinated with the property manager Mr. Sharath and a very helpful decision was done by him, by amending the day of checkout with rate adjustments for the day we cancelled. Definitely will visit again during our next visit to Mangalore or on any of our drive through this area in future either to Manipal (for MAHE Alumni meetings) or any vacation towards Goa.

it’s not 3bhk it’s just 2bhk
