The Boathouse on the Atlantic Sea

I have booked the Boathouse for my wedding weekend, two of my guest flew in from Germany and my mother came from Croatia, so we wanted us to stay at a nice, seaside cottage. To our surprise, when wanting to go to bed we found numerous mice droppings on the bedding of my and my husband's bed and behind the sofa cushions. I have complained to the host, the house manager, send numerous photographs of how unsanitary and unhealthy conditions these were, and the host is still trying to avoid any kind of reimburstment. I had to sleep in my jacket and hat (having psoriasis on my face I could not risk my face touching any droppings). This one night cost us 400 euros, so this kind of service is unacceptable and unprofessional to say the least.

Very quaint and cute. Loved the decor. Liked that it is directly across from the water and the next door neighbor Donkey. So sweet and friendly.

The staircase is a bit of a tight squeeze, especially with luggage. Actually, a tad dangerous. Wish there had been a dryer to go along with the washer. Not much water pressure in the lower level bathroom.

I liked the location near the water.

It wasn’t clear where to park my car.

The Boathouse is really well set up. There were a couple of small things that could be improved, but I have already told out host about them. The location was lovely right next to the little Liscannor harbour. It was within easy walking distance of good places to eat and not far from a beach. Would definitely recommend the Boathouse.
