Tucked away amidst the bustling streets of Marrakech lies the serene oasis known as Riad Darabi en Exclucivite!!! Stepping through the unassuming entrance, we (4 adults & 4 children) were transported into a world of tranquillity and beauty that perfectly captures the essence of Moroccan hospitality. Upon arrival, we were immediately struck by the traditional Moroccan architecture and design that adorns every corner of the Riad. From the intricately tiled floors to the ornate wooden ceilings, every detail exuded elegance and charm. The rooms at Riad Darabi are a true testament to Moroccan craftsmanship. Each one is uniquely decorated with vibrant colours, plush furnishings, and traditional Moroccan textiles. All bed rooms in particular, boasted a comfortable bed draped in luxurious linens and opens into a courtyard. One of the highlights of our stay at Riad was the impeccable service provided by the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality by Aziz who stays at the Riad and available for anything you need. He went above and beyond to ensure that our every need was met, from arranging transportation to providing recommendations for local attractions, restaurant recommendations and even walking us to the city square on our first day. In addition to its charming accommodations, Riad Darabi also offers a range of amenities to enhance the guest experience. The rooftop terrace, with its panoramic views of the city skyline, is the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious breakfast or dinner or sip on a refreshing mint tea while watching the sunset. The location of the Riad is very much convenient with most of the tourist attractions within a 20-30 min walk. Last but not the least the Riad offered us a rich traditional Moroccan breakfast every day. The icing on the cake was the dinner on our last day, with authentic Moroccan tagine dishes using fresh, local ingredients. Overall, our stay at Riad was nothing short of exceptional.

Simple yet very good breakfast. If you are into sweet, french-styled breakfast, it is a good choice.

An absolutely beautiful riad, right in the beating heart of Marrakesh. Managed by the utterly amazing Aziz! Nothing was too much trouble…breakfast, dinner, booking cabs/trips etc. He genuinely looked after us all so well with the utmost care and respect for our privacy. Thank you xx

Superb location in medina's hidden street - safe and quiet. Close to parking/car. The house was large enough for 4 adults and 5 teenagers

The area the riad was situated in was safe. Had no issues leaving and returning at late hours. The house was very clean and very spacious. It felt like a family home with multiple bathrooms and air conditioned rooms. It was quite beautiful with an open room to let fresh air in. It is also slightly away from the traffic of the city so very peaceful. The house manager will be at the house at all times and is extremely helpful with support in booking taxis, ordering food or directions. If you are lost he will support you in getting back etc. He is extremely kind and made the visit extremely easy as a tourist.

The house was difficult to find in the first visit. Its better you ask the host to wait outside in the street for you so they can lead you to the riad. They do not state in the description but the manager of the house will stay with you. However they have their own quarters at the very top locked away from the rest of the house at night. So please be aware there will be a person looking after the riad and will be downstairs during the day.

The owner and our host Aziz made everything to make our stay pleasant, comfortable, safe and problem-less. We had a delicious welcome dinner we ordered before, Aziz prepared great breakfasts everyday. He was so helpful making all arrangements for trips, transportation, Hammam as well as explaining Moroccan culture, traditions and customs. Riad was clean, well located on the border of Medina, close to tourist attractions, tastefully furnished and quiet.
