Cobbles Loft

It was a lovely apartment in a great location

No parking but we new that before we arrived

Lots of facilities, located just a minutes walk from Mousehole’s beautiful harbour

Cobbles Loft was a little gem of a find. the location was perfect with the accommodation being spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. We did have communications with the host who was brilliant and responsive. We would happily return again.

The only thing we would mention was the bed in the master bedroom. We personally found it a bit uncomfortable and the wooden frame was a bit rocky!! This was minor and did not disrupt our stay at all, we would happily return, its a lovely cottage!

Beds and car parking

Really good arrival instructions. Great location close to the delightful harbour and pubs! Loved loved loved the loft itself, the decor was really beautifully done. The furniture & equipment provided was top notch and better than anything we have experienced through booking.com before. Appreciated all the creature comforts and personal touches like thick fluffy towels, towel sculptures, hand-soap, tea-towels, pots, pans cooking equipmnet accessories, cleaning products etc. Salt, sugar, cooking oil, games DVD and books to read. Was self-catering dream. Made it so much more like a home-from-home. Thank you ever so much for really considering the client's needs and not just providing the billy basics.

tiny tiny niggles lucky for us we had a heat-wave during our stay, however this made the loft hot, hot, hot. First two nights were stiflingly hot and uncomfortable so a fan in the bedroom would have been a God-send. Door lock on entry was loose, making it tricky to get in and then concerning whenever we went out. Tin opener needs replacing, neither of them work properly - was a struggle to open our food. Wifi was frequently off making work I had taken difficult to complete. But really the loft was so lovely the good really did outweigh the bad. Despite the above we had a lovely time.

Nothing I did not like

Owner and cleaner were very responsive when I had trouble locating the front door. They were so lovely!! The apartment was so clean, the decor was really nice and it was overall very comfortable.

The forethought of leaving us a pint of milk in the fridge, along with teas and coffees in jars. The cleanliness. The very clear instructions on how to find the apartment, and the friendly messages from Anita. A lot of thought has evidently gone into creating a lovely space. DVD choices for all tastes and ages. Lots of board games, and a handful of books. Thank you so much for providing us with a lovely place to stay, for our son's wedding weekend.

There were large gaps at each side of the blackout blinds, so the bedrooms were very, very bright. A couple of fans would have been a Godsend too, but on the whole,, the apartment is very well thought out.

Clean and well equipped apartment with everything you need in an absolutely cracking location. Loved the DVD collection and we went down memory lane watching Fawlty Towers! The welcome biscuits and milk were also a nice touch!

You can't park outside but we always found a spot down by the harbour which was only a few minutes walk away.
