There was no wood for the fire. We were unable to turn the heating on and property got really cold at night.

Mulberry Cottage is a beautiful retreat for anyone wishing to escape their busy lives! The cottage is super cozy and welcoming. The location is perfect! step out of your chocolate box cottage front door for a good walk and enjoy the picturesque Cotswolds followed by afternoon tea or a pub lunch in Painswick

Location excellant a few minutes walk to the church (beautiful) at the centre of the village. Great walking especially with the frost - really beautiful. Great local pub. Cottage was spotlessly clean and very warm and cosy with plenty of heating and hot water and log burner.

Be aware that there is no kitchen nor dining table to eat at. Therefore had to eat on our laps. Also if you are planning to stay more than one or two nights take your own logs (we had to go into Stroud to purchase as we were told that the logs provided were a "starter" only).

Everything was outstanding in standard and attention to detail.

Nothing, you should totally just book this place.

It would be nice to have a bedside table each side of the bed. Also somewhere to sit and eat breakfast - maybe some bar stools in the kitchen ?

It was in a lovely location. It was a very pretty cottage and cosy with the fire which we used after a long day of dog walking. The cottage was a perfect base for us to explore the Cotswolds and the locals were all very friendly.

We were a little disappointed to not receive a welcome pack of eggs and bread etc that other reviews mentioned and was also mentioned in the brochure in the property. This property was not a cheap place to stay so a welcome pack is an expected 'bonus' on higher end properties. We also found it difficult to eat off a coffee table, I would recommend that a small table and a couple of chairs was tucked into one corner of the lounge or a couple of stalls in the kitchen to sit at the counter by the window.
