Cheerful one bedroom cottage in Mousehole.

Clean, bright, well appointed, great location.

Lacked basic information sheet on operation of eg hob/oven, heating system, tv. Bath/shower taps a triumph of style over function. Kettle handle broken .

Great location short walk to Mousehole parade & Mousehole rock pool & you get the whole property. Netflix.

Ground floor windows do not open (only one in kitchen opens) so there’s a strong damp smell in the whole place & visible growing mould in the bathroom. Shower taps are tricky to perfect the right temperature. Bed is student size small double not ideal for 2 adults. No parking & limited free street parking however, the car park is opposite £12.50 for 24 hours but adds up after a few days. Dog hairs noticeable on the rug.

The position and the privacy. I stayed here in 2022. Hence my return. It has good amenities.

Cottage is looking tired and tatty in places. Sofa bed is not comfortable to sit on, new addition. It was also covered with white dog hair. Bedding smelt damp, slept on top of bed. The green additions change the minimalist look and are not pleasant. The property is too small to accommodate four ! Needs an overhaul. Patchy paintwork, broken, dirty blind pulls. Bathroom uninviting. Paying premium for position, shame as it was rather smart and trendy on previous visit. No microwave….

It was all good

Great location, sea view from bedroom. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Property was well equipped with everything we needed. Nice touch with the chocolate and milk. Parking directly opposite the property and very reasonably priced at £12.50 for 24 hours. Fantastic communication from the host. Looking forward to a return trip soon.
