Mirandela itself is quite pretty

This top floor apartment in a run down housing estate was not as described. Difficult to find due to wrong description.Pictures were of different places in Mirandela but needed to drive to them ,not on actual site. Ie. no pool, tennis, reception etc. No lift. Dirty stairs and hand rail and broken windows..Some windows nailed shut. Not up to fire and safety regulations. Bare wires tied in a knot above bathroom doorway.Old shabby interior decor with very low uncomfortable bed. Owner requested cash and did not supply a receipt despite us asking for one. Your office told us we must pay as we had a contract. We were unhappy about this as we are in our 70s and would never have knowingly booked a third story apartment without a lift.We had been deceived by false information. We left after 1 night knowing we would lose our money and went elsewhere. Very disappointed in Booking .com. Have travelled many places with them in the past and this type of thing has never happened to us before. I will complain to Holland address I was given when I return to England on 12 October. This property is also on othersights where it claims to have tennis, putting greens and even a miniature submarine. IFI can see this is fraudulent surely your office should be able to do similar checks.

The apartment was comfortable. It is a nice and calm neighbourhood, it provided a true taste of local life. The apartment was very clean. Its central location was perfect to explore the city. Overall, it was an ideal place to stay, combining convenience, comfort, and a genuine local experience.

Wonderful apartment in a local neighborhood. Super clean with every imaginable amenity- washing machine, Dolce Gusto machine, stove, TV, A/C, heaters. Superfast internet. Card payment possible on arrival. Host did not speak english but we had no problems checking in and paying.
