A beautiful spacious cottage. Very well equipped. Lovely decor and very comfortable. Nice bedding and towels. Comfortable beds. Slept very well. Good walks for dogs nearby. The best we've stayed in so far for the amount of space and quality of decoration and furniture. A lovely place to stay

Nothing really. The main street can be a bit busy with traffic, but just have to take your time driving through the village

The location is good for local facilities, pubs, restaurants etc. A little far from the coast if that is your regular destination during your stay. Off street parking a big bonus especially for the less mobile. Very clean and comfortable and the owners had very good communication. Well equipped

Our only negative would be the bathroom. It is a shower over the bath, which was just too high for my husband to manage safely. He does have a few mobility issues, but I don't and I admit I struggled a bit and I'm 5'6". Luckily we were only staying a couple of nights so my husband was able to manage. We did know about this set up before we arrived so not complaining. A ground floor property is obviously attractive to the less mobile and I would suggest converting to a walk in shower would be more suitable if possible.

Property very well kept and well presented. Very clean upon arrival. The dogs were very happy in the property! Hosts easily contactable with any issues we potentially had during our stay.

Warm and comfortable accommodation on one level, and spotlessly clean. Small patio garden at the back. Easy access to countryside for dog-walking. Well-stocked supermarket at top of village.

Main bed very comfortable. Living room very comfortable. The kitchen was well fitted with a reasonable choice of utensils etc. Nice airy dining area. Clothes line in rear garden. Off street parking. Linen and towels very clean.

Single beds in 2nd bedroom not too comfortable for adults. The driveway needs some tlc. No dishcloths and limited cleaning items provided. The smoke alarm is perhaps too sensitive in the kitchen.

The house was immaculate, with all needs catered for. Very comfy beds, beautiful bathroom, well equipped kitchen and lovely big, comfy sofas in the sitting room. We even enjoyed the sweet little garden - fab!

Our son is autistic and it takes us a long time to pack up his things (he often unpacks to check everything is there). We were therefore running late leaving. I tried to email the hosts but got no reply. When the cleaner turned up, she was extremely rude and aggressive- reducing both me and my son to tears. We were less than an hour late leaving and I explained the situation to the lady, but she kept saying she was already running late and this would make it worse. In hindsight, I should have arranged for a late checkout, but did not realise this was an option. The experience ruined our impression of the house, and my son does not want to return.

I liked that it was a bungalow as I find it difficult getting up and down stairs. It was so clean and welcoming and was the same when we last stayed. The rail station is so near which makes exploring easy. The host was easy to get in contact with and answered any questions straight away. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this property, a hidden gem
