The house was fabulous. Modern and spotlessly clean. Private off road parking. A garden perfect for our dogs. Completely fenced in and with a great view of the Mournes. The house is barely 1 minute walk from the main street and the beach. 5 minutes walk from the start point of the beautiful walk up Slieve Donard. Great dog friendly pubs. We had a couple of lovely meals in The Mariner with the dogs in tow. Newcastle is a lovely town with lovely people. Mary, our host, was excellent and answered any queries straight away. I would definitely recommend a stay at Park Avenue.
