Cobbler's Cottage at Kindrochet, Strathtay

Perfect location. Very stylish cottage and everything you need. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen for cooking when not using the local hotels which serve fabulous food.

Nothing. I could understand going downstairs to kitchen could be a problem for some but not for us.

A lovely little cottage in a quiet riverside location. There is a little shop just up the road, and, just over the bridge, there is a fancy bar and a high-class chocolate shop/cafe where you can get the world's best chocolate truffle! We were very comfortable here and there was everything we needed without it feeling cluttered.

Nothing really. Though, a word of warning to other visitors - although the advice is to set the shower to 'high' you should actually set it to 'eco' so that you can control the temperature better.

Lovely location next to the River Tay on the Rob Roy Way with other beautiful walks close by. Also enjoyed Aberfeldy, Scottish Crannog Centre and St Mary's Church, so many interesting places to visit!

The area feels like a fairy tale and the house is beautiful and comfy. Everything was clean and tidy. Not suitable for people with reduced mobility due to the stairs but that is explicitly mentioned in the details and it was all good for us.

The shower was not the best in terms of the water: temperature was hard to control (only possible in Eco mode, with quite low pressure).

Cosy and spotlessly clean cottage, wonderfully warm (despite the -1 At night!) and just perfect for listening to the birds singing and the river in the background, the Inn across the river (2mins walk) was one of the best meals we have had in a very long time. We are planning to return and use it as a base for hill walking in the future as we loved it so much

We had such a lovely stay at this cottage. Mark is a wonderful host - he kindly allowed us to check in two hours earlier than the scheduled time, which we really appreciated and made the trip even more relaxing from the start. The cottage itself was charming. The fire pit was a big highlight for us and added such a cozy touch to the evenings. The location is also fantastic - peaceful yet convenient, making it the perfect little getaway!
