Cobbler's Cottage at Kindrochet, Strathtay

Beautiful on the outside and inside. It is located near a lovely iron bridge over the River Tay. The river races along, but the window glazing keeps everything inside cozy and quiet.

Not a problem for us but the stairs could be a problem for some.

The cosyness and homely feel to the cottage. We felt very relaxed there. The river nearby was lovely and there were 2 great restaurants a couple of minutes walk away over the nearby bridge. I saw a hedgehog on arrival and a red squirrel the morning we left!

Only because of our ages and being retired, the bathroom and kitchen being down a wooden staircase was a little awkward for us, especially during night time visits. We managed though!

Me and my partner took part in the Etape Caledonia and Cobbler's Cottage was the perfect location for the event in Pitlochry. Cute cottage with good sized bed, lounge and kitchen. Everything was clean and everything worked great. Good clear instructions provided by Mark. Very peaceful area right next to the river Tay, and lovely restaurant across the bridge.

Cottage is spotlessly clean and everything there that you could possibly need.

The main living area, bedroom with steps down into lounge/diner, are upstairs. The bathroom and kitchen are downstairs. Because of this it may not be suitable for someone with mobility issues

Location, quaintness of building, facilities nearby

Bathroom towels could have been bigger, I.e. bath sheets.
