Villa Peippo

I can't recommend this villa highly enough! Truly an exceptional stay. The villa is located near Lapland Ounasvaara Sky Hotel which is a major pick-up location for many of the popular activities in Rovaniemi. The nearby hotel offers a breakfast buffet and delicious dinner that was convenient to have a short walk away. The villa is tastefully decorated and well-stocked in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. There is a hot air blower to dry snow clothes and lots of space to store them near the door. The in-bathroom sauna was divine! We used it every day, sometimes twice per day. The property has a parking spot that doubled as a sledding hill for our boys - of which the villa provides plenty of sleds! The villa is also nearby a popular lookout spot where we saw the most amazing display of northern lights! The property is centrally located (20 min from airport and 15 from SCV) but far enough away that we were able to see the northern lights outside of city light pollution. However, the BEST part of the stay is the host. Veli-Matti was so attentive and friendly! He offered us rides and luggage transfers, and he messaged me to let me know when the northern lights were most likely to show and where we should go to see them. We got to know him and consider him a dear friend. Everything about this villa is magical and if you're having trouble deciding where to stay in Rovaniemi, search no further. Stay at Villa Peippo!

Clean and well equipped!

Amazing place! Perfectly located in nature while still being close to the city. The facilities are excellent, everything is very clean, and the host is incredibly attentive and caring. There is plenty of space, the kitchen has great amenities, and the sauna is fantastic. Highly recommended! Thank you, VM, for your wonderful hospitality

Everything about the property was fantastic! Beautiful location. 15 minute walk up to the observation tower where there is a beautiful view, a fire to toast marshmallows and a big hill to sledge on. The location is lovely and we saw the northern lights 3 times right outside during our week there. Wonderful facilities, sauna, well equipped kitchen and comfortable living area. Absolutely perfect and highly recommended!

Property was beautifully decorated Cosy and spotlessly clean. everything was to a very higher standard. The owner has thought of everything you could possibly need to wish for. The villa is a winter wonderland its very special place and hope to return one day. Stunning winter walk right on the door step there’s an observation tower with views over the city. Found a Kota on the walk where we stopped and cooked our sausages and marshmallows- perfect day out! You will not regret booking this property

Hi we did 4 nights there absolutely magical our kids had an absolute ball fantastic location very easy to get taxi restaurant 5 minute walk highly recommend it and the cabin was like a dream inside 10 out of 10
