The location was great and it was very spacious. The host was easy to contact and very quick to respond. She dealt with all of the issues we had immediately and with care and concern.

The check in was weird. The first day we arrived, we found someone else in the space who left through a back door quickly once they realized the unit was rented. The person who was staying there without permission left a bit of a mess in the space. I called the host immediately and she refunded me the night (we got a hotel for that first night) and hired cleaners to come in the next day to clean the entire place. Besides that, the only other issue I had was the shower in the master bathroom. It was small, which wasn’t the issue, but it had two shower heads and when they were both on, the water just came out as a trickle. There wasn’t enough water pressure to wash my hair or even get the soap off of my body. There was also only two towels in the entire place (we had three people) and no extra toilet items like shampoo. There was a used bar of soap in both bathrooms, though.

We arrived late at night and woke up to a spectacular “showstopper” sunrise . Seriously awesome!

There were a few minor issues, we boomers could not figure out the fan/light in the primary bedroom. Pretty sure the wall remote needed a battery but did not have time to investigate. The Ugg sheets in primary bedroom were also a tiny bit tattered. All minor. All in all it was great!

Fabulous house with amazing views

Excellent views and points of interest near the property. You can reach the beach, Korean Friendship Bell, sunken city, and other points of interest easily and quickly. Nearest grocery is about a mile and plenty of dining options exist nearby.

The views were absolutely stunning and the house itself is beautiful—exactly as pictured. It's in a perfect location, close to the pier and walkable to many spots in San Pedro. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept great each night. The BBQ and garage were also nice extras. Note: This home is not ADA-compliant. If stairs are a challenge for you, this may not be the best choice, as you’ll need to go up and down frequently. Also, the water pressure could be stronger, but it wasn’t a major issue for us. Overall, a great stay for a short getaway with incredible views!

FANTASTIC! We like this rental so much that this is our second time renting here. We have had a positive experience from the first step to handing over the keys at the end. It's in a great location that is off the beaten path but easy to get to everything. The neighborhood is peaceful and clean. The neighbors are nice. The house is gorgeous! The views starting on the main floor are hypnotic. Great ocean views. The beds are comfortable and there are ample blankets to add on if needed. We really like the multi-tiered home it's a neat layout. The kitchen is well appointed - Love the dishwasher... super quiet. The garage access is a nice bonus.

That we had to leave. It was such a great location that we didn't want to go!

The location was great...close to everything! The views were stunning! The open space, coupled with the full walls of glass overlooking the ocean was absolutely beautiful...morning coffee on the balcony was always a great way to start the day. The beds were very comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet. Also, wonderful to have access to a washer and dryer within the house.

While the main floor was lovely, finding out the bathroom was one story down was not great for us. This home has 3 levels since it is built on a slope, which is fine, but no bathroom on the main floor was definitely not great and would prevent us from renting this house again. 14 stairs down to reach the bathroom, which is located directly across the first bedroom. Down the hall, another 4 stairs to get to the master bedroom (although a large and comfy room, it would need to be updated since the balcony curtains were torn in several places and the floor severely scratched), which does have a large, lovely bathroom. Another flight of stairs takes you to the family/gym room, complete with a big screen TV, which we did not use. Additionally, while there was a propane BBQ grill, it was in sad state and really would need to be replaced. No curtains on main floor was a problem if you wanted to watch TV...the bright sun and daylight made it impossible to see the screen. With no TV's in any of the bedrooms, we did not hear the news for the week we were there.
