Priory Cottage, North Devon

Massive miscommunication, no check in instructions provided or assistance once on site. Had to cancel the reservation and book a different place to stay the night. Unable to comment on the facilities as we were unable to gain access to the property.

Perfect for a couple on a short break. For longer stays some might prefer a separate bedroom. Loved the quiet location and little garden. Excellent for visiting nearby National Trust and RHS properties Always pleased to receive the welcome goodies!

No signal to watch any TV in the evening even when using wifi

Spacious property. Plenty of crockery and cutlery. Good bedding and towels. Lovely view. Good parking. Quiet location.

Told we could check in early but cleaning staff hadn't been told and property wasn't ready. A strong chemical had been sprayed inside which caused skin irritation after first night. Property was VERY damp. Bathroom floor was so cold that it was wet through every morning with condensation. Unable to dry this out. No window in bathroom for air circulation. Not helped by leaking cental heating radiator in bathroom that had rotted through. This let all the pressure out of the heating system so the boiler would not turn on for radiators. Very uncomfortable sofas. WiFi signal poor. TV signal poor. Mattress needs replacing as springs could be felt when lying on it. Overall, disappointing.

The location was great, lovely little cottage and the facilities were all that we needed.

Unfortunately the cable TV and WiFi did not work whilst we were there too weak a signal but there was a large group staying in the main house

It’s quiet , in beautiful surroundings . The property is spotlessly clean , well equipped and very comfortable .

Very cosy cottage at the end of a long driveway. It was very clean and everything you needed for a short stay. Not too far from the main town and was very quiet.

Wasn’t clear from the advert as to how close the main house was the cottage but wasn’t a problem and you have your own separate fenced garden.

A lovely comfortable cottage in a great location. Highly recommend 👍

The only criticism is that some of the woodwork on the windows and the front door needs some attention......the rest of the cottage is in good order.

Location, quiet, felt safe.

Lovely quiet location. Near to several lovely beaches and Exmoor National park. Views of countryside. Plenty of parking. Well equipped kitchen. Thankyou for the wine and biscuits. Very clean.

The sofas were very soft with little support.
