Tranquil and cosy cottage on the Somerset Levels

Lovely cottage with everything you could need. Warm welcome from Alex. Brownies and cider to greet our arrival. Very dog friendly in a peaceful location, will be visiting again.

A perfect cottage to relax in for a few days with our elderly dog. He loved just to potter around the garden, which was totally secure. The cottage is so well equipped with everything we needed. Our hosts, Andrea & Alex, went the extra mile to make us welcome, including some delicious brownies, also cider in the fridge upon our arrival. Not to mention being given some very tasty freshly laid eggs. So thank you Andrea & Alex for your hospitality.

A perfect cottage in a peaceful location. Comfortable and well laid out, with everything you need. Dog friendly too. Within easy reach for the Somerset tourist spots we visited. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Cottage was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Kitchen was really well appointed with everything we needed. The cider and home made brownies were lovely. The cider was especially nice as we drove down in 30 degree heat. Very relaxing location. Loved having the sheep welcome us home each day.

The property is very remote. There is a pub within walking distance (just) but it didn't look too welcoming so we didn't visit. There are no shops in walking distance so driving is essential for everything. That said, it made for a very tranquil location.
