It's a lovely little holiday cottage. Julia makes sure you have everything you need. Love Boggle Dyke, and we'll be back yet again soon. The photos are from our previous visit.

Nothing, it's perfect.

"Suited our needs. with no need to bring any items as the kitchen was so well stocked,"

10.0

The location was central to our needs. Not for everybody but my wife and I walked into the nearby town Thornhill (1.5 miles ) everyday for a evening meal, milk etc. Lovely location with a few coffee shops etc. dog owners have a splendid walk fifty yards from the cottage along the river Nith. We walked it daily (no dog) about an hour to circuit.

Traffic was heard, especially early morning, but never intrusive. The small rear garden was sun trap. We used the cottage as a base to visit the the areas points of interest. Parking was fine for two vehicles, we had a motorcycle so ample room. We don't do photo's so we cant oblige on that request.

"Comfortable but remote"

7.0

The cottage itself was lovely, well put together and comfortable. The heat was an issue but that’s not anyone’s fault. Can’t hold it against anyone. Otherwise everything is comfortable, the kitchen is well kitted out and the garden is lovely

The village the cottage is in is very very empty. If you want a takeaway or a pub or even a shop you’re looking at the next village over. It’s not far, 10 mins in the car but a solid half hour walk (wouldn’t recommend it in the dark)

Beautiful cottage. Spotless and so well equipped. Bed was super comfy and the shower was amazing. Good location to hide away and relax, but close enough to go buy milk if you forget like me!!

"I am absolutely knackered and very disappointed with this experience."

3.0

Bed was not comfortable at all springs in bed and I thought I was sleeping on floor sofa was very uncomfortable and needs replacing. The oven was not clean and the pan was very old and dirty. The tv was in and out of reception. We had a dog and wasn't aware the grass area opposite the cottage was the neighbours grass and he came very nice man and said he had spoke about this several times something I should not have had to deal with.
