Lovely, well presented cottage overlooking beautiful gardens and centrally located for touring around Chichester and the South Downs. Plenty to see and do nearby and thereafter return to clean and comfortable accommodation.

What's not to like?

Fabulous bunch of cottages/accommodation and some great walks right on the doorstep. Hosts kept themselves out of the way but were there when we needed them. We absolutely loved the Crown & Anchor pub which was under 15 minute walk and the Thyme & Chilli indian restaurant, under 5 mins drive was superb.

We weren't sent the gate key code before arrival. No big problem as we just had to call the number on the gate post but that could have been a little smoother.

Perfect stay. Very homely with everything we could need.

Location style private

Beautiful grounds and location, with lovely walks to the shore. Very peaceful. Large lawn. Well placed for visiting surrounding attractions such as the seaside, National Trust properties and gardens. Plenty of space for parking. Spacious living room but some sort of focus, such as a fire, would give it more character.

Arrival details were very vague. The main gate was jammed and needed a code which we were not given. One of us had to walk up the drive to discover there were other ways of gaining access. A simple explanation would have avoided a stressful arrival. The kitchen didn't have a window. Very strange as there was plenty of room to punch one through. Bedroom was quite cramped. A welcome pack would have been welcome.

Beautiful, comfortable property in a great location for accessing Goodwood Motor Circuit.

It would have been nice to have a small welcome pack e.g. milk, fruit juice but this was not a deal breaker.
