The bed

Little tired, beds uncomfortable, dishwasher door wouldn’t shut, pipe leaking in downstairs toilet when showers were used.

Good location for touring the lakes with parking Has a newish full size fridge freezer Has potential if owners take on board the feedback

The whole place needs a deep clean, kitchen that’s not broken and bedrooms all refurbed. Mattresses are awful (springs jabbing you / uncomfortable) in all 4 rooms, mattress covers are dirty, 2nd floor floorboards wake everyone up, kitchen tap came off in our hand and leaks, sofa is knackered, dirty dishes had been left in dishwasher, the cooker hood needed cleaned (it was disgusting) as did all utensils/glasses, etc before we could use them, dishwasher door broke and we managed to fix it, sockets weren’t working in some bedrooms. Had 1 stained tea towel and one bin bag for a 3 night stay. Had to buy more utensils (left those for next unfortunate people). No response to message I sent other than to offer a discount for next stay - no thanks!

Good location, Clean and spacious

Could feel the springs in the mattresses making the stay very uncomfortable, the floorboards creaked, exposed wiring in ground floor w/c (potentially very dangerous), faulty bathroom lock which left my niece trapped inside for nearly an hour - upon contacting the host was told someone would be there within 30mins but that never happened! Eventually we managed to get her out using a 50p coin and fiddling with the lock for a long time!

It was ideal for a short stay and served our purpose.

Little noise from the creeks of the floor boards and the bath plug was stuck shut.
