Location was good, remote, if that's what you're looking for.

They said they had a washing machine, but they did not. This was listed as an amenity, but it turned out, this was not available to guests.

The house was ideal for our family vacation. There were in-house activities that kept us occupied at night. The house was clean and the helper also came in to clean in the mornings.

I noticed there was an alarm but did not know how to use it.

Great location, really nice kitchen area and the number of bathrooms.

The property is in very poor condition. Mould and damp in some of the bathrooms, rodents on the house, torn bedding, threadbare towels, broken blinds held up by cable ties (one fell down during our stay), broken kettle and torn torn pool table top to mention some of the issues. Had to request the grass to be cut and the outside sofas are disgustingly dirty and unusable. Also not really enough cutlery and crockery for a large group.

The facilities are old with appliances such as the kettle not working. Hot tub also faulty. The home is far from luxurious, yet it is advertised as luxurious accommodation....very misleading. The showers are not even clean with rusty shower heads. There isn't even basic handwash liquid in the bathrooms Whilst Shanellle and Lindo were helpful, they couldn't change the discomfort and unpleasant experience of not getting what was paid for.

We loved our stay at Bergwinds. It’s location is ideally situated - close to shops and Garden Castle. The property has a stunning view of the mountains, which we enjoyed whilst sitting in the jacuzzi. It accommodated 9 of us comfortably, and it was great having the pool table. It was clean, and most of the beds were very comfortable. The staff and our host, Shanelle, were attentive and helpful.

There were a few minor issues like not enough cutlery, no darts for the dart board, and no DSTV or WIFI, but there was very little not to like. We loved our stay.

Everything was wonderful and the place was in a perfect location
