I liked that the house was big enough to accommodate all of us. And the house had everything we needed.

The house was not clean when we got there. There were dirty dishes all over and some left over food on the kitchen counter. The bins were also food and the water that was supposed to be provided was not there. No one came to tell us about the water situation. All in all we had no drinking water.

The view was very nice

Almost everything was disappointing. The roads were terrible, throughout the day the water was gone, the prices of everything was ridiculously high, the games in the unit were from the 90's,the cutlery and crockery were extremely old and not well looked after. The pool boy spent 2 and a half hours cleaning the pool on the only day the sun happened to be shining, absolutely disappointed to have travelled so far and have to drive 2 and a half hours on the worst roads in South Africa. Definitely not worth the price I paid and wouldn't recommend any friends and family to book in.

Beautiful view. The cleaning lady was very friendly and came in every morning. She did a fantastic job! The washing machine as a bonus. Enough freezer and refrigerator space.

The braai (weber) wasn't functioning well: Lid was bend, no tray for the ash, no handle to move the braai. The stoep area wasn't very clean on arrival (lots of small papers, bones and plastic lying around the dustbin. Two wooden table-benches. Both need some varnish. One of the seats were completely broken. The big knives to cut meat or bread were all broken or blunt. Although one could see the cutlery was washed at some point, it was greasy to the extent that we had to wash all of it before we could use it. There were only two wine glasses of which one was chipped... Mix 'n match of cooldrink and beer glasses. One of the beds in one of the top bedrooms had dirty linen on our arrival. We had no water on the last two days to shower or bath or flush the toilets. However, that was a complex issue, since no one had water. Luckily the Jo-Jo tank had some rain water, which we could use to wash the dishes and flush the toilet.

Nothing, although the staff did their best with what they had... Which was not a lot!

Everything, run down, dangerous and access to the beach was through a large metal security fence! If you did venture out onto the beach you were harassed by locals trying to sell rubbish or begging for money.
