Ukhozi House

The place was very clean

The house keeper was not informed of our arrival so the keys were not ready for us. We had to wait for the keys to be delivered in a local restaurant. By the time the keys arrived, it was already dark. The house had an electricity problem so we had to stay in the dark and cold during all night. Eventually the house keeper brought us fire wood and offered an alternative house but it was already too late at night to move. All in all the house is very nice, big, clean and well maintained. We believe our visit suffered a series of unfortunate events that do not reflect the full potential of the house.

The fireplace was very pleasant and we were provided with a pack of wood and matches. The beds were very comfortable. Bath and shower in main bedroom were very good.

It was very cold, as we expected. There were no additional blankets for the beds and the heaters in the rooms did not work well. The utensils in the kitchen were skimpy and made it a bit difficult to prepare meals e.g. not enough wine glasses, cutlery and braai tong not effective.

Super clean, well decorated and cozy. Also liked that they provided wood for initial fire and sopa for shower and kitchen.

Spacious bedrooms all en suite and two living areas that were both very cozy. Nice kitchen with all the necessary! And the location is very good, close to the main road but far enough to be quiet too!

A few small details with the finishings (walls, tiling) that one can see the house is still work in progress.

The house was clean, the decor was excellent. The location was great.

The gate is a a bit off an issue to open and close, quite difficult to move. but nothing major.
