Villa Philippos

For exploring the south of the island, this is the perfect location. Also on walking distance to the beach where there is a choice of restaurants. The house is comfortable and well equipped. On arrival we found lots of fruit, water and even some wine. That warm welcome was continued by the young owner Padelis, he really makes sure that you have a good time. Please make sure to visit the best Italian restaurant on the island in the village closest to the house. The outside of the house is also great and that is where we spent most of our time. Highly recommend.

The location is exceptional for those seeking relaxation, closeness to nature and the sea, less contact with fellow tourists and the comfort of a villa. I enjoyed staying there for 7 days at the last week of September. The host is easy to reach by phone or WhatsApp and e mail. He is very friendly and highly helpful in every aspect. The greeting set of fruits was amazingly delicious and big and the accompanying Greek vine tasteful. We especially loved the Villa’s Garden with blooming banana (we saw that for the first time), hanging chair and set of sun beds. The villa at night is tastefully illuminated by small spot lights scattered around the property which helps to find it when returning back late. We rented a car at the Corfu city airport and it took about 40 minutes to get to Villa Phillipos at night. Return trip to the airport at daytime is about 1 hour due to the traffic. The beautiful long sandy beach Gardenos is 2 minutes’ drive away or about 10 minutes’ walk from the Villa. The sea was warm at the end of September, the water transparent and shining, the beach was clean and had all the amenities. There are 3 taverns on the beach one grill bar and a small shop 100 meters up on the road. I’m glad to recommend the beautiful Villa and one of the best beaches on the Corfu Island. Everything was great

The house is very clean, has every bit of equipment you’d need for a vacation. Perfect for 2 couples or a couple with two children. The outside area is very comfy and is amazing to sit and drink coffee or a beverage. It’s very quiet and relaxing. There is enough parking space for 2 cars. The beach is like 5 minutes walking and is one of the best beaches on Corfu. There are a couple of tavernas near the beach which are worth going to.

I personally didn’t find anything wrong, but there were 2-3 grasshoppers that my girlfriend didn’t like.

Probably the best accomodation I've been to. Even better than on pictures. Super clean and such a nice terase. In the middle of beautiful greenery. A few minutes to a very pretty sandy beach. We would love to come back.
